Get your mind healthier > How much of TOXIC WORDS are you taking on a daily
basis?

People who rely on internal pictures cannot see negative at all. In
order to process the command of not doing something, our brain had to
first imagine the doing which is the exact opposite of the intention.

You can't visualize not doing something. The only way to properly
visualize NOT doing something is to actually find a word for what you
want to do and visualize that.

I know you are talking to yourself all day long. We all have internal
voices that give us direction.

Here is a list of Toxic Vocabulary words. Notice when you or other
people use them.

But - negates any words that are stated before it

If - presupposes that you may not

Would have - past tense that draws attention to things that didn't
actually happen.

Should have - past tense that draws attention to things that didn't
actually happen (implies guilt)

Could have - past tense that draws attention to things that didn't
actually happen, but the person tries to take credit as if it did
happen

Try - presupposes failure.

Might - It does nothing definite. It leaves options for your listener

Can't / Don't - These words force the listener to focus on exactly the
opposite of what you want. This mistake parents and coaches make
without knowing the damage of this linguistic error.

Take a moment to write down all the phrases you use on a daily basis or
any toxic self-talk that you have noticed yourself using. Write these
phrases down so you will begin to catch yourself as they occur and
change them.

Every year, the diet and fitness industry makes millions - much of it

to change your eating habits, help you lose weight or increase your
levels of physical activity.

Help you frame and work towards your goals ways which respect your
body. One consequence of this is that it may be easier than you think
to make the changes you identify as being helpful. Another is that it's
unlikely that you'll experience what some diets offer - i.e. that
weight will drop off you. It isn't a quick fix diet or exercise
programme.

Using NLP to help you achieve your healthy living goals is about
changing your attitudes and behaviours - safely..

Most certainly!

Many diets and exercise programmes fail for one or more of these
reasons. They focus on a goal with a finite point (like a goal weight
or dress/collar size). Once we reach that - we think we're done. So we
take our foot of the pedal - and slowly, often imperceptibly, the
weight starts creeping back on again. They `work' by getting us to do
things differently. But the difference isn't comfortable. So as soon as
we've reached our goal we revert back to our old familiar and more
comfortable ways

They focus on the symptom (excess weight, lack of energy) rather than
the cause (beliefs/attitudes which, in turn, drive our behaviour).

I'ms going to focus with you on HELPING YOU make changes which are
comfortable - so that it becomes EASIER AND MORE COMFORTABLE to do this
than to revert to your old habits. So that, even if you still have a
target weight still lurking in the back of your mind, once you reach it
- you're better able to maintain those changes that will help you
sustain it. And we know how to dealing with the cause (underlying
attitudes and beliefs) so that you can change your behaviours for long
term success, rather than just temporarily getting rid of the symptom.

So, as well as being about helping you achieve your healthy living
goals safely, NLP can also help do this is a sustainable way.

10 Ways to use NLP to make positive changes to your life

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a way of thinking about

how our minds are programmed. NLP techniques can make

many positive changes to your life.

1. Think about what you want, make a plan and then take decisive
actions towards this goal. Change these actions if they don't work.

NLP suggests that people often keep repeating the same patterns of
behaviour. They continue to do this even when the actions do not work.
The suggestion is that if our usual actions are not creating the
results that we want then we need to try different actions instead.

2. Find models.

The idea here is that if one person can achieve something then anybody
can. If you really want to do something then look for a person who is
already succeeding in that area and use them as a model. Imitate the
steps that they have taken and the way that they have made them.

3. Take control of your physiology.

The body and the mind are closely connected so if you feel in a
particular state, for example `depressed' then your body will represent
this with physiology, so a depressed person might sigh and hang their
head. If you change the way that your body is behaving then you can
change your state. If you feel depressed then look up and put your
shoulders back.

4. Take control of your internal representations.

We all form inner pictures, in our minds, based on events in our lives.
Once these inner pictures are formed we replay them again and again in
our heads. It is far more useful to play back our positive images and
experiences than our negative ones. If a negative image keeps playing
in our minds then we can consciously switch it for a positive one.

5. Decide what your core values are and act upon them.

Everybody has important values that control how they act but not
everybody is aware of their own key values. To find your most important
values keep asking questions about central areas of life. For example
ask `What makes me want a job?'If your answer is `Working in a strong
team.' then ask `What matters about working in a strong team?' Keep
asking. You will find out what really matters to you.

cielsuperbe- 6. Think of `failures' as feedback

In NLP there is no such thing as failure. If something does not work
then you are encouraged to view this as feedback and to try something
else. The idea is that every `failure' moves you closer to finding out
the right way forwards.

7. Create positive anchors

Anchors are items, touches, sounds, smells or images which we connect
to particular experiences. We may remember a special food or perfume
and connect it to a positive event such as a first date. We also create
negative anchors. If a dog barks at a small child she connects barking
dogs with terror and fear. NLP suggests that people can create their
own positive anchors. For example you might remember a time when you
felt very happy and then recreate the feeling strongly in your mind. As
you do this you could squeeze your thumb. If you kept repeating the
good feeling connected with that specific action then, in the end,
squeezing your thumb would bring you into the positive state.

8. Reframe negative events and experiences

Reframing means looking at something in a new way, so if you have just
lost your job this could seem terrible but you could reframe it to make
it an opportunity to start your own business. Try to find the most
positive way to see every experience. Many dark clouds have silver
linings.

9. Create Rapport with other people.

Communication with other people is very important. We can create
rapport by mirroring their voice, language and actions. If they are a
visual person they will talk about what they `see' and `picture'. If
they are kinaesthetic then they will talk about how they `feel'. An
auditory person says things like `I hear you'. If we can work out which
type of language they are using and reply with similar phrases then
they will think that we are like them and feel closer to us.

10.Think about the words that you use.

The `L' in NLP is `linguistic' from `language'. Words matter. If you
put yourself down or talk about yourself in negative terms then this
will change how you feel about yourself. Try to use positive words and
phrases both about yourself and in your dealings with others.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
